Clown in a Cornfield
This slasher-horror film directed by Eli Craig (Tucker and Dale Vs Evil) follows seventeen-year-old Quinn Mayfield who moves with her father to the small town of Kettle Springs after a family tragedy. Seeking a fresh start, Quinn finds herself in a town split by intergenerational tensions between the adults and their youngsters. But things take a deadly turn when someone - or something - dons the mask of Frendo, the town’s creepy corn syrup mascot, and starts picking off teenagers one by one, driving Quinn and her new classmates to uncover who’s behind the clown mask and survive the night. Clown in a Cornfield looks to be fast-paced and brutal featuring a liberal dose of satire to provide the (nervous) laughs.
